Morse Hospital CUP

Kaiser Permanente

As part of our ongoing work for Kaiser Permanente at their Sacramento Medical Center, HY Architects has been responsible for remodeling virtually every space within the entire campus including designing a new Central Utility Plant (CUP).

The CUP included multiple scopes including: a new Central Utility Plant (CUP), a new basement, a new air handler unit (AHU) within a new mechanical building for the 1960’s era Flats Hospital building, a building addition to support a new air handler unit (AHU) for the existing Camillia Hospital Building, a pedestrian/utility bridge that will be used to convey emergency and normal utilities from the new Central Utility Plant to the Camillia Hospital Building and an auxiliary parking facility that feature a vehicular bridge.
